Didn't realise it was out yet.. Is it available in "normal" shops or do I have to meet Melz at Doncaster again? Confused

I bought it in Selectadisc for 8.99... Dunno if that counts as a "normal" shop... As anyone who buys CDs in Nottingham might tell you, the staff in there always seem to be judging you based on what you buy! (But then again, I'd do that too!)

Death of a Band is good, yeah.

I didn't know it was out either. Will have a jolly into town in a couple of hours to bug the record shops of Doncaster and if I find more than one copy, I'll get one for you Kinkster.

Melz.

Well I just wandered around all the shops in Sheffield City centre with no luck.

I did however get "Gone Fishin" instead so some luck then Smile

I have to say the Desparecidos song on the CD is not one of my faves. They sound very much like a generic System Of A Down type band, at least in that song they do.

Gone Fishing is a good cd... My Morning Jacket & Wauvenfold are my favs apart from the obvious...

Anyone else got the Wauvenfold album? Not bad.

i just got gone fishin',

it reminds me of the sort of music you enjoy whilst waiting for the headliner at a gig but never hear again......

my faves are penfold plum and her space holiday, and i'm not keen on wauvenfold.

innit strange how we all have different tastes??,

i actually like the desperciados tune, although conor oberst does have one of those voices where he could release an album of christmas carols and i'd like it,
Wink Wink
maybe not

I'm totally with Paul on this one. Those were my fave tracks on the album too.
