I went out and bought it after all. Smile Like the first album though, it looks like this one looks like it's going to take a while to get into.

As for my other purchases, the SFA release is a perfectly good waste of a single ("Liberty Belle" or "Venus And Serena" would have been better single choices in my opinion) and the B-sides aren't even up to much either upon first listen. Confused Although the vinyl is very pretty. Shocked Very Happy

Suede's "Singles" collection is simply amazing. They have even re-done the vocal part for "Trash" so Brett doesn't sound like a Tweenie in the verses. All is now right with the world. Very Happy

Melz.

I thought Venus and Serena had to be the second single, would have been top 15 for sure, and I would have had Liberty Belle after that. They would have been great adverts for that album, and both real short and radio friendly. A missed opportunity!

DUBYA-T , just thought that you might be interested in this...

The "new" Hanoi Rocks album " Twelve Shots On The Rocks " was released in the UK on 30th September. It has got quite good reviews already, and it truly is a fantastic album. I've had it since last Christmas though, the Finnish edition was released a long time ago. You know, the album I sent to you... Heh... Anyway, on the UK edition, there are 4 bonus tracks too! And the CD cover looks cooler too... Rolling Eyes I think you once told me that you have original copies of all their studio albums, so this would be a nice addition to your collection! Smile

though i've never been much of a strokes fan, i heard the album a couple of weeks ago and thought it was alright in a "wouldn't mind if i heard it at a party, wouldn't necessarily take it off the stereo, but not really writing home about it" kind of way.

the reggae sounding track is bloody appauling tho.

Which one is that? I still haven't figured it out, don't think any of them sound reggae. L&P
