The three Rovers games I mentioned were actually Fortune-West's three-match ban for his red card a while ago. I can't actually picture him going to Barnsley (I don't think he's good enough for the higher divisions) but I may be wrong.

The man to watch is Michael McIndoe. Scored a hat-trick at the Brisol game and scored a penalty at Macclesfield. Why on earth did Yeovil let this guy go? Shocked Very Happy

Yeah Melz, it's all very confusing. Confused
At first we were going to buy Dion Dublin from Aston Villa and now we're talking about a Division 3 striker Leo Fortune-West.
Anyway, we still can't buy new players anyway. I don't know why. The guy who's currently owning 50% of the club wants as much money as possible when he sells it. They've been saying that we're clear "next week" or "in the next couple of days" for something like 6 months now. We're out of administration but not allowed to buy new players?!

Also, I heard a rumour that Sheffield Wednesday are going into administration soon. All the Owls fans who have a season ticket got an invitation to a big and important meeting later this week... Owls chairman, manager, and members from the first team squad will be there. This meeting is about a significant 'development' which has/will be happening to the club. Maybe the small minority of Owls fans who still thought that a "big" club like theirs won't go into administration will now realise that they aren't a big club anymore.
I hope they survive, even though I'm not their biggest fan.

Melz, what's the Division Three league table like now? Are Doncaster near the top?

I'm a Sheffield United Fan. I will be very upset and unhappy if The Owls go under, and I do seriously mean that.

Players and OnDig / ITV Dig have go so much to answer for

Don't think any fan would seriously wish any club to go under but it must be close to 10 clubs who voted yes to the premiership who've now gone into/close to administration. Anyway will find out more about sheff wed situation when i go there next week to watch Argyle.

What was spooky about Doncaster's result this week was that the first three goals were scored by the same players (and in the same order) as those who scored last week away at Macclesfield. Blundell, then Green, then McIndoe with a penalty.

If Blundell doesn't score first on Tuesday, we're screwed! Rolling Eyes

Hull only got one point against Torquay so Donny are getting closer to the top... Barnsley are currently 8th in Division Two.

i'm tipping the quixotic torquay united for a play-off place this season before our man leroy rosenior is head hunted to a bigger club. i reckon he'll go to palace beginning of next season. doing a bang up job though, we haven't been this consistent, er, ever.

come on the gulls.

(not literally, that's a public order offence.apparently.)

Our much loved neighbours do have an excellent chance of the play-offs this season - Rosenior is doing well considering he has no assistant, also doing well out of a growing number (5?)of ex-Argyle players to.

What an exciting football night! I listened to Barnsley's match on Internet and it was really entertaining! Good fast football and five goals, brilliant! Leon McKenzie of Peterborough played a terrific match, he scored two goals (actually three, but one of them was disallowed) and created good goal scoring chances for the others. Barnsley's Isaiah "Messiah" Rankin is on top form at the moment though - 3 goals in 2 matches! If Barnsley win their next match, they're on the top of the league again! Smile

Also, a great battle by Ipswich (binmen...) against Crystal Palace - Finnish international on-loan striker Shefki Kuqi scored another winning goal for Ipswich on 89th minute. Sheffield Wednesday manager Mr Turner is probably quite pissed off right now! Twisted Evil

I listened to the last 15 minutes of Wigan - Sheffield United as well... I didn't see the goal of course, but the commentator said that Sheffield's late equalizer was really stunning. You might want to see that one Kris! Cool

Norwich fans are probably still celebrating their late winner against Derby County... Smile

Another great victory for Doncaster too, they've been a really positive surprise this season, I hope that they get promoted! Right, Melz? Very Happy

In the Champions League, Setareh's favourite club Juventus were quite impressive, even though they conceded two late goals... Did they stop playing or what?? Arsenal's situation is getting more difficult, they lost against Dinamo Kiev from Ukraine, and the Gunners have to improve A LOT if they want to qualify for the next round! Also, a surprise victory for Lokomotiv Moscow against the mighty Inter Milan... 3-0, that's quite a shocking result for the Italian boys!

In tonight's only Premier League match, Newcastle United showed some real fighting spirit! Fulham were already winning 2-0 after 8 minutes, but Robert's fine goal on the first half and Shearer's two goals on the second half took all 3 points for the Geordies!

I think one-all with Wigan is a very good result. We have a game in hand with another shot at the top, we just need to be more consistent. The games where we have been beaten this season have been the true definition of the words "well beat"!

Still, VERY happy with our position and looking forward to seeing that goal!
