Better luck for Wales next time. They were great in the qualification round, Italy were lucky to win the group.

I have had some problems logging in lately, so no football results. Sorry.
Liverpool qualified for the next round of UEFA cup when they won Steaua Bucharest with Harry Kewell's goal today.
Groclin Dyskobolia (I've never even heard of them) knocked out Man City on away goals. Always good to see those little clubs performing well.
Newcastle also made it to the third round when they beat Basle at home today. 1-0, someone scored an own goal. Yeah, right.
The TotD (trashing of the day) award goes to Parma, Italy. 5-0 against SV Salzburg today. Parma won 9-0 on aggregate. _________________

Just heard that some rich Arabian tosser is going to invest a lot of money on Leeds, so the lucky bastards might be saved before the end of the next week! I hope they still go down though. _________________

Watched Soccer Sunday earlier and saw all of these lovely goals. Fortune-West's goal for Doncaster was cool, but I think the goal of the day was Sheffield United's second.

Kevin Betsy's early goal for Barnsley was a stunner as well. A good long run and a nice shot past the keeper, brilliant! Unfortunately the defense was pretty horrible on Saturday, it was the first home match this season when we've conceded more than one goal.
Anyway, yesterday's results are here. Sorry, I can't be arsed to type all the goalscorers again. Maybe next time...
PREMIER LEAGUE:
Arsenal 0 - 0 Fulham
Chelsea 1 - 0 Man United
Liverpool 3 - 1 Birmingham
Man City 0 - 1 Middlesbrough
Has anyone heard anything more about Leeds and the mysterious Arab investor?! _________________

As you know, Leeds and Barnsley are both Yorkshire clubs. Leeds fans, just like Sheffield Wednesday fans, have always looked down on Barnsley fans, thinking that they are better people than us. Sheffield Wednesday fans still think that they're "a big club with international class stadium" but soon they will wake up to face the reality when they're in danger of getting relegated to Division Three!
When Barnsley FC were having hard times and we were collecting donations to save our club, Leeds fans just laughed at us. I even met some of those dickheads personally, they were hoping that my club goes out of business because "Barnsley don't deserve the place in the football league and they've always been crap anyway." Now they will have to swallow their own poison!
I certainly do
not
hope that Leeds or Sheffield Wednesday go out of business
, that would be a shame and I don't want that to happen to any club. But it would be nice to see them suffer in Division two or three or for a couple of seasons, and see how they lose their best players... That would teach them a lesson!
Without Peter Ridsdale and Patrick Cryne there would be no Barnsley FC. Ironically, he's the same man who they blame for Leeds' misery now. It's sad to see how everyone blames Peter for all that. Sure, he did some critical mistakes and was a bit too ambitious, but no one complained when they did well in the Champions League and UEFA cup!! When things started to go wrong on the pitch, it was suddenly all Peter's fault. What about the other members of Leeds board? It's a fact that Peter wasn't the only one making decisions.
And now some people demand that he should be banned from football for life! Why? Leeds still has a special place in his heart and he will always support them, so all talking about some conspiracy against Leeds is just ridiculous nonsense! If you make bad mistakes at some other job, you won't be banned from working for the rest of your life. _________________

This has always happened. For the record I am a huge Sheffield United Fan. My best friend is a Wednesday fan. I have had people spit at me in the street when we go past.
The thing is, wanting a club to suffer just because their fans will suffer too is plain wrong. I was gutted when the Owls went down because it meant no derbies. I'll be distraught if they go bust.
but I say HHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEY WHATEVER!!!
