I know in my life if someone makes a mistake that affects me I don't go around holding grudges for 25 years (or 10 or something, I haven't lived 25 yet).

The competens thing, I was giving an example, I love a lot of the songs on Let It Be, with the Spector treatment, I know he's possibly a genius (what is genius?). But still, going around and not talking to someone/moping because something they did ages ago, that IS childish. L&P

Although its not a great album I still prefer the original Let It Be. The Naked version sound like a bunch of demo's waiting to be fleshed out. Have you listened to the "Bonus Disc" of the Beatles sat around in the studio talking to each other? I'm sure you all say more enlightening/interesting things sat in the pub on a Friday night but you don't feel the urge to release it on CD. Or maybe you do but your record company won't agree to it.

I can't help but feel that The Beatles legacy is being diluted year on year. First with the Anthologies, then One, now this. It won't be long before Fatboy Slim is invited to remix Octopus's Garden. Actually that could be quite good, ignore everything I just wrote.

Just so it's clear, I don't mind that Paul decided to release this number, I don't think he's childish for that.
Most Beatles fans are mature enough to realize when they're being ripped off, so if it is a rip-off...oh well. L&P
