RIDE. The Power and the Glory. If the Stone Roses are classed as part of our music biology then Ride should be too. Totally glossed over nowadays though. Sorry to be pedantic Dubya but there final album was called Tarantula not revolver...anorak I know...... |

Tha's not wrong theer lad!
Ride were far better than the Stone Roses (IMHO) who I never really "got".
The first Ride track I heard was Dreams Burn Down and it floored me. Those massive, towering guitars and yet it sounded somehow delicate and fragile. Like a crystal vase smashing into a thousand shards, or icicles melting in pale winter sunlight.
