Yeah baby...hahaha...before you go off on your English tangents, imagine any player seriously letting off such a comment...it just wouldn't happen cos no one is as brilliant or crazy as Diego. I always liked Diego. When he scored against Nigeria in 1994 World Cup though and I saw the crazy look in his eyes (remember how he celebrated his goal?!), I knew there was something wrong. (Well, I didn't really...) And we all know what happened then. Tosser.

Having nothing better to do - I've been watching the darts lately (great spectator sport) - all I can come up with is some Sid Waddel quotes (not very original I know) at:

I do recall one player "having the world at the tip of darts" and "the baby faced cherub" (24 stone builder from Margate - he'll get some stick when he goes back on site), as particular highlights from this years world championship! _________________ Find a job you like, and add five days to every week. |

				  | never been a big fan, but what he said about Hillsborough is the main reason. the stuff he said afterwards, in an attempt to justify his book, about all scousers being illiterate and spending all their time nicking hub-caps, wasn't particularly impressive either |

I think that because of what he said about Hillsborough. And even though he did make a rather weak apology years later I still think he was a bully and one of the most negative tacticians in the history of english football. He was successful though, unbelievably so when you consider they won the league and two european cups in consecutive seasons (something manchester utd will never do) and that was when it was a

  champions

league. Being a liverpool fan qualifies me to talk about boring football. Houllier out! (although I'm not sure I want that clough acolyte O'neill in charge either. I could go manage celtic and finish at least second).

it's looking like we're going to stumble our way to 4th, and it's sounding like houllier thinks that's enough, and maybe even that he'll keep his job without 4th.

so the boredom will continue unless rick parry or david moores can be brave enough to get rid.

it's a sad situation when you start to think liverpool losing would be in the club's best long-term interests... |

I reckon Houllier will take us to 4th position and then resign in the summer. I like the man and he's taken us forward but he seems to have lost the players and its crap that 4th place is seen as success these days.

The only problem is who is going to take over. I'm not overly keen on O'Neill, I'd quite like the Porto manager to take over, not least cos he winds up Ferguson. |

I think that winning a mickey mouse cup and coming ninth in the league is hardly an improvement on what we have now. Hey, I like the guy. I'm not convinced that he is good enough for my team.
