What an amazing album. It fell off my CD rack the other day and into my arms out of the blue. Then I put on " Song from the blueroom" and thought.........how can this be so good ?........how can the lyrics relate so much ? Cos it's a Martin Carr song that's why.

"Spit on those who say
This is not the way
Let them die"

Martin Carr

"A view from a bridge helps decide if you should live through you life, take the easy way out or learn to fight it with your mind"

I used to think it was the best Boo's album. I'm really into Giant Steps at the minute though.

Anyone know they were gonna split up in advance?

I saw it coming after reading a "making of" piece in either NME or Melody Maker. There was just some kind of current running through the piece that didn't feel right at all.

I didn't hear about the Boo's split up until summer 1999, that's when I got 'Kingsize'. I listened to it and it's one of the few albums that I've liked from the very first listen and I still love it, so I wanted to find more information about the band, I didn't honestly know much about the Boo's before I had a quick look on Internet one day... and found out that the Boo's had split up months before. Confused
Anyway, "Kingsize" is a brilliant album, but I don't know if it's the best Boo Radleys album or not. Sometimes it is, sometimes it's not, but the best album of all time is always a Boo Radleys album! Rolling Eyes

The fact that it's so diverse and at the same time so constantly brilliant throughout makes Kingsize the best album ever for me.
And I didn't know they had split up until around the time when "Go With Yourself" was released. Confused
