Fresh from the NME

"Creed songwriter / singer Scott Stapp has been busy in the studio writing and recording over the past several months. His first post-Creed recording will be featured on an album coming on August 31 via Wind-up Records that will pool together superstar talent, as they individually offer compositions inspired by the film 'The Passion Of The Christ'."

I guess this is not a joke. What the fuck? Cause i am laughing my arse off.

Bless!!!

However seeing as you've titled the thread thus, i'd say both lambchops have been lush, madvillains is best hip hop, the walkmen is sound indie schmindie, giles petterson worldwide exclusives is top tastic, jim white is decent, franz ferdinand is poptastic and the streets 'ave another classic however my fave is SKALPEL. lush jazz n downtempo beats on ninja tunes. bloomin' marvellous!

the downer has been rjd2's rather shite funk aspiring 2nd record

I haven't listened to many albums yet this year. I though the Streets was class at first, but now to be honest, it isn't hitting the right buttons, 'cept for a few inspired patches like "Blinded by the lights" which is so real it's frightening.

I'm hoping bravecaptain and mercury rev will deliver some good stuff. ONe thing's for sure, there aint much good dance choons out there.
